Project Progress Report
The due date for the progress reports of BIL722 Advanced Vision course is 21 April 2014.
The following should be included in the progress report:
- Detailed problem definition: A detailed introduction of the problem, together with specific examples and potential usage areas. Any assumptions made must be indicated as well.
- Related work:You should have finished overviewing the recent related work on your project topic and provide an extensive evaluation on the related work. You should state the superior aspects and the weaknesses of the related work, and how you plan to position your work with respect to the existing literature.
- Methodology: Briefly, outline the method that you have implemented/will implement for your project. Even if there are missing details, the major steps of the algorithm should be described. A visual flowchart of the method would be most welcome.
- Experiments: The details of the datasets that will be used, the major metrics for evaluation and the preliminary results (if any) should be given in this part.
You should prepare your progress reports using the Latex template provided in: CVPR2014KiT . Progress reports should have a length between 3-5 pages. The final report will be an extension of this progress report, where the maximum length is 8 pages.
On 21 April, you will present your project progress in a 10-min presentation, where we discuss and give feedback on the current progress.
