An important part of the course includes discussions of a number papers related to certain research topics. Each paper discussion will be led by three students:
- One student will be responsible from providing an overview of the paper. This part of the presentation will be graded according to this rubric.
- One student will present the strengths of the paper. This part of the presentation will be graded according to this rubric.
- One student will discuss the weaknesses of the paper. This part of the presentation will be graded according to this rubric.
To prepare your presentations, you should use any presentation tool (e.g., Powerpoint, Keynote, LaTex) provided that the tool has options to export the slides to PDF. You are allowed to reuse the material already exist on the web as long as you clearly cite the source of the media that you have used in your presentation.
In the Spring 2020 semester, we will read and discuss these papers.
