Course Evaluation

  • Paper presentation: 20%
  • Participation (Paper reports): 10%

About Paper Reports

Each student is expected to write a short report about the papers presented. The contents of this report should include the following:
  • Problem definition: One-two sentences explaining the problem attacked
  • Main contribution(s): Main contributions of the paper
  • Advantage(s): Main advantages of the proposed method or things you like about the paper
  • Disadvantage(s): Main disadvantages of the proposed method or things you don't like about the paper
Each report:
  • should be half-page long at most.
  • can be written either in Turkish/English.
  • is due beginning of the class of the presentation time.
  • should be sent by email. It should be in .pdf format and the subject of the email should include "Bil682-PaperReport" phrase. Otherwise your report may be unseen and discarded.
Important Note: In order to receive participation credit (10%), each student must provide at least 5 paper reports. No credit will be given if less than 5 paper reports are submitted.
